Fancy trying your hand at throwing? Or want to take your skills a stage further?

Suitable for beginners or intermediate throwers, this day on the wheel will give you a firm foundation of technique, or extend your repertoire of scale or form. The emphasis is on the underlying principles of throwing and understanding the material.

The day can be treated as practice, or you can choose to keep some pieces for a return visit to practise skills of turning, adding handles, using slip and other forms of decoration. Additional materials and firing costs apply for work taken forward to finishing and firing.

£60 for the day.  Fee includes tuition, hot drinks and biscuits, but please bring lunch with you or pop out to one of the many local cafes or pubs.
