Throwing days are suitable for all students from absolute beginners to experienced potters who want to extend the scale or range of their throwing through guided practice. Exercises are discussed and tailored to each student's level of experience, so that measurable progress from the starting point is evident by the end of the day.

Work can be reclaimed, or stored for future treatment and biscuit firing preparatory to glazing, for which there is an additional charge.

The cost for the day includes tea, coffee and biscuits. Students can bring a packed lunch or visit one of the many local pubs and cafés.
